Pate Real Estate, Inc. had its origin in 1956, Bob Pate (1921-2002) relocated to Burlington and began his real estate career with Charles V. Sharpe, Inc. which had served the community since 1928. He became principal-owner and the name was changed in 1973. Tom Pate joined the firm in 1972 and currently serves as president.
