A Burlington resident since 1956 Tom is a graduate of Oak Ridge Military Institute, the University of South Carolina, and Leadership Alamance Sponsored by the Alamance County Area of Commerce. A licensed Real Estate Broker since 1972 and a State Licensed Residential/General Appraiser Tom is experienced in the sale of homes, brokerage of farm and development of land, and leasing-marketing of commercial-industrial real estate.

Tom is past president of the Burlington-Alamance of Realtors and the Alamance Multiple Listing Service and was named Realtor of the Year in 1996.
